Create your own Toji Split Soul Katana from Jujutsu Kaisen with this free downloadable EVA foam pattern. Designed for cosplay, conventions and display, this template helps you build a lightweight yet durable anime sword prop with clean curves and sharp details.

RECOMMENDATIONS & INSTRUCTIONS

Foam: 10mm EVA foam (any density)
Core: Shape rod (heat-bendable) to follow the katana’s curve
Primer: Your preferred foam primer
Paint: CosPaint metallics
Sealer: Lukas varnish

Cut all main parts from 10mm EVA foam (any density works). For the blade, follow the dashed lines and cut a slit to insert a shape rod (heat-form first to the correct curve).

You can either sand the blade edge directly for a smooth finish, or create a hollow construction.

Cut the handle pieces separately, sand them into shape first, and then attach them to the blade. For the pommel base, create a 15mm triangle bevel in a circular shape, cut out the spike, and refine it thoroughly with a rotary tool before assembly.

Note: There is no accompanying YouTube tutorial for this pattern. However, the construction principle is identical to any standard foam sword build.

Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat (or similar).
Select poster mode.
Choose 100% / Actual Sizer (DO NOT SCALE TO FIT).
Print the file.
Trim edges and tape sheets together, aligning the marks.

The pattern has a small white square that is 10mm in width and length. You can measure the square on your printed pattern to check if it's still 10mm.
